community heals.

My bodywork practice is a large form of activism and meditation for me. I pride myself on creating a safer space for strategically marginalized people to heal and thrive. I am so happy to treat mom’s of trans kids, teachers, union organizers, anti-racist activists, sex workers, neurodivergent, melanated, fat, and disabled community members. Whether it’s in the treatment room, during a chair massage at an event, or providing gender affirming surgery support, I offer you my full presence to give the best possible treatments. I love knowing that the energy I put into you feeling better in your mind, body and spirit supports you to do your own work and live your life better.

Some ways I have worked to increase community accessibility was to create the Amma Bodywork Fund. Since it’s inception in 2019, I was able to give 26 free, 90-minute massages to folks who could not access this care otherwise. Currently, I offer sliding scale rates and first time discounts to continue to make this work as accessible as possible.

I have also donated gift certificates and / or chair massage at fundraising events to many mission-based organizations including:

  • Asset to the Resistance

  • Filipino Bayanihan Center - Care for Caregivers

  • Free Geek

  • Oregon Food Bank

  • PDX Alliance for Self Care

  • PDX SOS

  • Power to the Dreamers / DACA art show

  • Fat Fists of Fury

  • Meals on Us

  • Trans Wardrobe Project

If you have an event you think we’d be a match for, I’d love to hear from you!
